Spinal Reflex Therapy (SRT)
Spinal reflex therapy (SRT) is a scientifically-based manual therapy to effectively treat spondylogenic reflexes in the body by applying mild pressure to specific muscles associated with the client’s reflex pattern. These reflex patterns are part of the body’s automatic defense systems which involve a complex relationship of quick action reflexes throughout the torso, neck, and extremity muscles used to defend the body from a threat from behind. (Think “Ice Bucket Challenge” that doesn’t quit!) When these reflexes get stuck “on” due to overstretching or other trauma, they can cause pain and limited function indefinitely until properly addressed. SRT is a precise, reliable protocol to gently remove these errant patterns to quickly restore function and reduce pain, spasms, stiffness, joint tracking error, motion dysfunction, stress, anxiety, and fatigue.
