Soft Tissue Mobilization
Mobilization is a manual therapy utilized by chiropractors and physical therapists to manipulate the soft tissues surrounding joints and muscles. These tissues may tighten after an injury, while mobilization therapy may increase its range of motion, thereby helping to promote healing and improve joint function. The increased range of motion in joints may also help improve blood and lymph flow as well as nerve function in the area of injury.
