Testes

The testes, also known as the testicles, are a pair of male reproductive glands located in the scrotum. They are responsible for producing testosterone, which is the primary male sex hormone, as well as sperm, which are the male reproductive cells necessary for fertilization. The testes are also involved in the regulation of secondary sex characteristics in males, such as facial hair growth, deepening of the voice, and muscle development.
