Neural Therapy (including Trigger-point)
Neural therapy is a form of alternative medicine that involves the injection of local anesthetics, vitamins, or other substances into specific points in the body to relieve chronic pain or correct dysfunction. It is based on the theory that chronic pain or illness can be caused by disturbances in the body’s electrical system, which can be corrected by injecting substances into specific points called “neural therapy points” or “trigger points.” The goal of neural therapy is to normalize the body’s electrical system and promote healing by interrupting the cycle of chronic pain and dysfunction. This is achieved by injecting small amounts of local anesthetic, such as procaine or lidocaine, into the affected areas. In some cases, other substances, such as vitamins, minerals, or homeopathic remedies, may also be injected.
